The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) is pleased to announce the winners of the INQAAHE Funding Scheme (IFS) – Capacity Building Grant.
Following a competitive selection process, two projects have been selected for funding:
- Capacity Building for Student Council for Academic Learning & Enhancement (SCALE) at NUST, submitted by the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan
- Development of National Microcredentials Framework: Building coherence in lifelong learning and workforce development in Bhutan, submitted by the Higher Education Quality Council (HEQC) – Bhutan Qualifications and Professionals Certification Authority, Bhutan
INQAAHE received numerous high-quality applications this year, reflecting the strong commitment of its members to advancing quality assurance systems across different regions and contexts. The Network warmly congratulates the selected institutions and looks forward to the outcomes of their projects. INQAAHE would also like to express its sincere appreciation to all members who submitted proposals. The dedication and effort demonstrated by the community continue to play a vital role in strengthening capacity building in quality assurance in higher education worldwide.
The INQAAHE Funding Scheme (IFS) supports the Network’s mission to promote excellence in higher education through the strengthening of quality assurance practices and collaboration among its members. As part of INQAAHE’s Strategic Plan 2023–2027, the initiative focuses on advancing research in quality assurance and strengthening the capacity of member agencies. Through the Funding Scheme, INQAAHE provides competitive grants to support innovative projects that enhance quality assurance systems worldwide. The scheme also encourages cooperation among members and promotes a better understanding of the diverse contexts, values, and needs of higher education systems across the global QA community.
