INQAAHE and the National Committee for Qualifications and Academic Accreditation (NCQAA) Qatar have successfully concluded their joint national training programme designed to strengthen quality assurance capacity across Qatar’s higher education sector.
From January to October 2026, the comprehensive four‑module programme equipped 33 participants from Qatar’s higher education institutions with practical tools, global perspectives, and enhanced competencies in quality assurance, programme design, review, and evidence‑based improvement. Developed at the request of NCQAA and supported by Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the initiative reflects a shared commitment to advancing high‑quality, sustainable QA practice in the country.
The programme was delivered through a blended model combining international expertise and national priorities. Module 1 and Module 4 were facilitated in Doha by Mary Catharine Lennon, PhD, while Dr. Tariq Al Sindi and the NCQAA team led Modules 2 and 3, ensuring alignment with Qatar’s accreditation frameworks and institutional needs.
Participants will receive certificates of achievement during the ANQAHE Forum in Doha this week, where representatives from INQAAHE—including INQAAHE President Dr. Maryam Mustafa—will join NCQAA in celebrating the successful completion of this collaborative initiative.
INQAAHE extends its sincere appreciation to NCQAA Qatar, the Ministry, the programme facilitators, and all participants for their commitment and engagement. The completion of this programme highlights the strong partnership between INQAAHE and NCQAA Qatar and demonstrates how targeted, collaborative capacity‑building can support the continued development of higher education systems.
As a global leader in quality assurance capacity development, INQAAHE continues to offer tailored training programmes and advisory support to agencies and institutions worldwide. Organisations interested in similar initiatives are invited to connect with INQAAHE to explore opportunities for collaboration.
