The African Quality Assurance Network (AfriQAN) is pleased to invite you to participate in an upcoming two-day virtual workshop being jointly organized by the Association of African Universities (AAU) and the African Quality Assurance Network (AfriQAN). Themed “Institutional Quality Assurance for Impact,” the workshop will take place from 29th to 30th April 2025 via Zoom.
Workshop Overview
In today’s increasingly complex global environment, higher education institutions must demonstrate their impact, especially amid rising calls for transparency and accountability. Quality Assurance (QA) plays a pivotal role in driving institutional excellence, fostering educational quality, and contributing meaningfully to societal development.
This workshop is specifically designed to support institutions in sub-Saharan Africa to strengthen their QA systems by equipping participants with practical strategies, tools, and insights for measuring and communicating institutional impact.

Enhance Understanding: Deepen participants’ knowledge of institutional QA and its role in fostering impactful outcomes.
Tool and Strategy Development: Offer practical methodologies for improving institutional impact through effective QA.
