INQAAHE

The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) is a world-wide association of some 200 organisations active in the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education. The great majority of its members are quality assurance agencies that operate in many different ways, although the Network also welcomes (as associate or institution members) other organisations that have an interest in QA in HE.

INQAAHE offers members a Journal and newsletter, a query service and events. INQAAHE is developing a Good Practice database, a QA Clearinghouse and a professional qualification in QA.

Register yourself for the INQAAHE Members' Forum 2010!

We are pleased to inform you that the registration website for the upcoming INQAAHE Members’ Forum is now online.
The 11th biennial forum is hosted by the Namibian Qualifications Authority (NQA) and will be held in Windhoek, Namibia on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 May, 2010.
On Tuesday, May 4th  two pre-forum workshops will be organised.

Reviewers and consultants database launched!

Together with the Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) INQAAHE developed a database of consultants.The database lists people with expertise in Quality Assurance in Higher Education who have expressed their willingness to provide advice. Click here to read more.

Invitation to participate in the INQAAHE Small States Internship Programme

In collaboration with the World Bank and UNESCO (through GIQAC) INQAAHE has set up an internship programme in which funding is provided for 6 small states representatives from developing countries.
INQAAHE asks its full members with developed QA systems and with sufficient capacity for mentoring to provide the opportunity for an internship placement within their agency. In return representatives of small states are invited to make a well motivated application for an internship placement with an agency outside their own region. Click here for more information.

Launch of the Program for Quality Assurance Professionals (QAP)

On the 21st of November the Program for Quality Assurance Professionals in Higher Education was presented at the fourth European Quality Assurance Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark. INQAAHE has created a comprehensive program for the training and professional development of QA professionals. Second agency to be found into alignment with INQAAHE Guidelines of Good Practice

The Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA) Australia, is the second agency that comprehensively adheres to the INQAAHE guidelines of good practice. Read more

 

Call for Good Practices

A few months ago INQAAHE launched a database of Good Practices in Quality Assurance.
At the moment there are only a few practices included and therefore we are asking our members to share their systems and activities that are relevant to good policies, practices and
outcomes in quality assurance.

2009 INQAAHE Conference

The 10th biennial INQAAHE Conference was held from 30 March to 2 April, 2009 in the United Arab Emirates

Please note that in 2010 the INQAAHE Members Forum will be organised from 5 to 7 May in Windhoek, Namibia. More information about this event will follow soon. 

The INQAAHE Bulletin

Every three months the INQAAHE Secretariat will publish an electronic bulletin which is sent to all its  members. Every bulletin contains a presidents' message an overview of the most important recent developments and a summary of upcoming events.
