INQAAHE

The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) is a world-wide association of some 200 organisations active in the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education. The great majority of its members are quality assurance agencies that operate in many different ways, although the Network also welcomes (as associate or institution members) other organisations that have an interest in QA in HE.

INQAAHE is delighted to inform its members that the World Bank and UNESCO, through the GIQAC collaboration, and with support from The University of Melbourne, New York University and INQAAHE, are providing funds for qualified applicants from developing countries to study the INQAAHE-written graduate qualification in QA, at either The University of Melbourne or New York University. Fourth agency to be found into alignment with INQAAHE Guidelines of Good Practice

The Sistema Nacional de Acreditacion de la Educacion Superior (SINAES) from Costa Rica, is the fourth agency that comprehensively adheres to the INQAAHE Guidelines of Good Practice (GGP). Click here to consult the review report

The 11th biennial Forum was hosted by the Namibian Qualifications Authority (NQA) and held in Windhoek, Namibia on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 May, 2010. On Tuesday, May 4th  two pre-forum workshops were organised.

 

INQAAHE Clearinghouse online!

INQAAHE Members can now consult the INQAAHE Clearinghouse (QAHEC). This website permits you to search for the principles, policies, procedures, practices and standards of quality assurance agencies around the world.
The Clearinghouse is support by the GIQAC fund from UNESCO and the World Bank.

Launch of the Program for Quality Assurance Professionals (QAP)

On the 21st of November the Program for Quality Assurance Professionals in Higher Education was presented at the fourth European Quality Assurance Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark. INQAAHE has created a comprehensive program for the training and professional development of QA professionals. 2009 INQAAHE Conference

The 10th biennial INQAAHE Conference was held from 30 March to 2 April, 2009 in the United Arab Emirates

The INQAAHE Bulletin

Every three months the INQAAHE Secretariat will publish an electronic bulletin which is sent to all its  members. Every bulletin contains a presidents' message an overview of the most important recent developments and a summary of upcoming events.

The Global Initiative for Quality Assurance Capacity (GIQAC) is a partnership project of The World Bank and UNESCO to support higher education in developing countries and in countries in transition. At the moment INQAAHE is carrying out the following GIQAC funded projects:

Together with the Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) INQAAHE developed a database of consultants.The database lists people with expertise in Quality Assurance in Higher Education who have expressed their willingness to provide advice. Click here to read more.
