Representatives of INQAAHE, Deb Adair, INQAAHE President; Dr. Susanna Karakhanyan, INQAAHE Immediate Past President, and Fabrice Hénard, INQAAHE Chief Executive Officer, are participating this week in the 2023 Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)/CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) Annual Conference, which is taking place from January 23-26 at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC.

The theme for the 2023 CHEA/CIQG Annual Conference is Maintaining and Improving Quality Assurance: Today and Tomorrow. This annual event focuses on higher education accreditation and quality assurance and attracts participants from colleges and universities, accrediting organizations, higher education associations, government, and media.

On January 24, 2023, Deb Adair, Susanna Karakhanyan, and Fabrice Hénard participated as panellists in a session to introduce the INQAAHE new International Standards and Guidelines for Tertiary Education Quality Assurance (ISGs). This session introduced the ISG as a flexible, modularized framework for self-improvement and evaluation that addresses differences in agency maturity levels to provide ongoing value.

The programme of the Conference is available here.
