SUMMARY:INQAAHE Conference 2027 – Doha (Qatar)
DESCRIPTION:INQAAHE 19th Biennial Conference 2027\nBeyond Compliance: \nReimagining Quality through the Lens of Human Value\n4-7 April 2027\nDoha (Qatar)\n\nThe INQAAHE Board sought expressions of interest from member agencies to host INQAAHE Conference 2027 in November of 2024. Considering the venues for the INQAAHE annual events for the last ten years, preferences for hosting the INQAAHE Conference 2027 were given to the Arab States, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America and Western Europe. During the 2025 General Assembly Meeting held in Tokyo (Japan) under the frame of INQAAHE Conference 2025, proposals to host this event were formally presented by the different applying agencies. The INQAAHE members later on electronically voted for Conference 2027 to take place in Doha (Qatar) and to be hosted by the National Committee for Qualifications and Academic Accreditation (NCQAA).\n \nConference theme\nRapid technological change, shifting societal expectations, and an increasingly uncertain global context are challenging the continued adequacy of compliance-driven quality assurance models in higher education. These shifts call for a rethinking of quality beyond standards and procedures, toward approaches that capture the human, societal, and ethical value of education, and strengthen trust and relevance in higher education systems.\nThis conference provides an opportunity for the international higher education and quality assurance community to explore the required shifts in perspectives, practices, and paradigms repositioning quality assurance as a human-centered, impact-oriented system that supports innovation while safeguarding integrity and public trust. It aims to empower higher education providers and quality assurance agencies to respond effectively to a rapidly changing technological, societal, economic, and global landscape.\nDiscussions will be structured around the following sub-themes:\n\nQuality Assurance for Societal Impact and Public Value\nAI-Enabled Quality Assurance: Enhancing External Review Through Automation and Analytics\nRisk, Resilience, and Innovation: Reframing Quality Assurance for a Fast-Evolving Global Higher Education\nEthics, Integrity, and Trust in Higher Education: Safeguarding Human-Centered AI through Quality Assurance\n\n \nCall for Proposals\nKnow more about the different sub-themes on the call for proposals.\nCall for proposals\nINQAAHE is looking for forward-looking, critical, and practice-oriented proposals that rethink quality assurance as human-centered, impact-driven, and future-ready. Proposals may be based on new research, innovative practices, or other relevant experiences and initiatives. Presentations should be interactive and foster a high level of engagement. The proposals should be accessible and understandable to an international academic audience operating in diverse contexts.\nThe deadline for submissions is 31 October 2026.\n \nRegistration fees\n\n\n\n \nINQAAHE Members \nINQAAHE Non-Members \n\n\nGeneral registration \n\n\nIndividual \n525 USD \n575 USD \n\n\nIndividual (LDC countries) \n450 USD \n495 USD \n\n\nGroup of 3 to 5 \n450 USD \n495 USD \n\n\nOnly keynote speeches streamed \n100 USD \n100 USD \n\n\nPre-Conference workshops (extra paid) \n\n\nIndividual- 1 workshop \n160 USD \n175 USD \n\n\nIndividual- 1 workshop (LDC countries) \n140 USD \n155 USD \n\n\nGroup of 3 or more – 1 workshop each pays \n140 USD \n155 USD \n\n\nIndividual- 2 workshops \n240 USD \n265 USD \n\n\nIndividual- 2 workshops (LDC countries) \n210 USD \n230 USD \n\n\nGroup of 3 or more – 2 workshops each pays \n210 USD \n230 USD \n\n\n\n
