How to join INQAAHE?

Annual Membership Fee

The INQAAHE membership fees for 2010 are:

  • Full/Associate/Institution Members and Affiliates: EUR 440.00
  • Full/Associate/Institution Members and Affiliates from LDC/LIC countries: EUR 220.00

Members from LDC/LIC countries are eligible for the reduced fee of EUR 220.00. The LDC/LIC countries are listed by the World Bank as less developed countries or low income countries. At present member countries Maldives and Samoa are listed as LDC. Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan and Vietnam are listed as LIC. The complete lists of LDC's can be found here. Please note that the INQAAHE Secretariat will send an invoice to all approved applications from Members and Affiliates. Your INQAAHE Membership or INQAAHE Affiliate Status will only be activated after the INQAAHE Secretariat has received the INQAAHE Membership Fee.

Members receive the Network’s Newsletter and Journal. The Network offers four categories of membership. Each category is explained in the tab "Membership categories".

8. The Network has four grades of membership, Full, Associate, Institution and Affiliate.

8.1 Full Members are organisations responsible for assuring the academic quality of post-secondary institutions or education programmes other than their own, such as:

  • accrediting agencies;
  • universities that accredit other institutions;
  • evaluation agencies and similar organisations; and
  • those bodies responsible for the external quality assurance of such agencies.

8.2 Associate Members are organisations with a major interest in evaluation, accreditation and quality assurance in higher education, but without the responsibility for assuring quality of institutions or education programmes as described in 8.1.

8.3 Institution Members are Higher Education Institutions with an interest in a formal association with a Quality Assurance network and in good standing with the relevant QA Agency.

8.4 Affiliates are persons with a major interest in evaluation, accreditation and quality assurance in higher education.
